  • The authors shows that the Orange Pi 5 Plus is connected to the ethernet over WIFI after he inserted the BLE/ WIFI to the Orange Pi.
  • The device is not connected over a cable to ethernet.
  • connections he shows are
  • usb mouse
  • usb keyboard
  • hdmi monitor
  • power supply
  • but no ethernet cable
  • the author does not show in the video how he connects to Wifi
  • he says the connection to the internet is fast.
  • The Orange Pi opens .pdf documents fast
  • He shows that the Orange Pi 5 plus is connected to WIFI
  • He shows that the Orange Pi 5 Plus is connected to his smartphone
  • He shows that he sends files from the Orange Pi to his smartphone
  • We can see that his smartphone is connected to the Orange Pi
  • He sends files from his smartphone to his Orange Pi
  • He has installed Ubuntu installed on a NVME drive at the same time.
  • The Orange Pi 5 Plus offers two slots which allows to install an NVME drive and a Wifi & Bluetooth module which requires a slot as well at the same time.

There is a comment which says that the author has an Orange Pi 5 Plus as well. He thinks he has a similar card as in the video, and he says if the translation is correclty that it worked with KDE Plasma and Ubuntu as well as with Debian. But Bluetooth did not work with Android and Openfyde.

This is good news, but we still miss a proof of function for a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with the Orange Pi 5 Plus.
