Funding of selected Meditation Research & Meditation Retreat Centers around the world?

There is

  • the Center of Healthy Minds in Madison-Wisconsin with around 100 people working there, some of them do or did research on meditation..
  • the Felsentor Retreat Center on the Rigi Switzerland.
  • the Zendo Meditation in Lucerne.
  • the Laghsam Tibetan Meditation in Zurich.

The Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) who is interested in low-cost high-quality physiological sensor devices:

asks the question.

Will these centers be sucessful on the long-term, and can they also be financed on the long-term?

Yogi Bhajan who brought Kundalini Yoga from India/Pakistan to the west was successful all around the world. We can find many Kundalini Yoga Centers also in Switzerland:

https://swiss-kundalini-yoga.ch/de/

But most of the teachers are individual persons with their indivdual centers. And in Kundalini Yoga Schools where teacher are educated, they live in a tent, eat soup, bread and vegetables, go up early in the morning, and life a simple life. And these schools and centers are successful on the long-term, even 20 years after the death of Yogi Bhajan.

But what is about the other centres we mentioned? Can large reserach institutes with many people, and meditation centers build at expensive locations be financed on the long-therm? How can this be done? Questions like this, but also others we write about in our journal need global community which finds answers to those.
