- OpenBCI EEG devices with up to 16 channels are well established and have a large community of users.
- The Emotiv Epox Flex 32 is now used in several scientific papers and has a community of user.
- For developers with good coding skills, new platforms are available like HackEEG and Raspberry Pi EEG. Adam Feuer did some experiments with 32 channel EEG devices based on Hack EEG, but we do not know of any proof of it’s function.
- For developers with good coding skills who want more than 16 EEG channels, a solution based on HackEEG or Raspberry Pi EEG combined with InfluxDB might be worth testing.
