We suggest to negotiate with digitec is Switzerland:

to offer the following 32 Channel EEG Ads1299 EMG EEG Acquisition Module WiFi TF STM32 V2.3 in their shop:

and give you a warranty time of 24 month for it. Digitec did not yet offer the PinePhone in their shop:

But we can try to convince Digitec to pick up the 32 channel EEG device.

Warning:

  • Seller do stock market speculations with this board. It was first offered for around 550 USD, and then it was sold for double the price.
  • According to our own little experience, the risk is there if the board is used for instance for student project or papers, that sellers could increase the prize for it.
  • A software interface needs to be written first for this EEG board, or ask BrainFlow developer Andrey Parfenov to support it, and if not we can do it by ourselves.
  • We have to ask ourselves if it is worth to invest time and to depend on this developer who did previously stock market speculations with this board, and if it is not better to change to an EEG architecture which is based on InfluxDB with which it is more difficult to do stock market speculations.
  • The price for this board seems currently linked to the Epoc Flex 32 control box.
  • Advantages of this board compared to Epoc Flex 32: a) higher ADC rate b) if imported by Digitec longer warranty time:

As with the Greentek Gelfree cap, that although this EEG board is on the market since several years, we do not know of anyone who confirms that it works properly, and we do not know if it works either. We therefore suggest to look for other products as for instance this one:
