Peter Charlton is a British Heart Foundation Research Fellow in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, at the University of Cambridge. He develops biomedical signal processing techniques to analyse data from digital wearable devices for clinical decision making:

Peter Charlton mentions novel approaches to hande noisy PPG signals. PPG signals are often contaminated by noise. These novel approaches where proposed in resent years (mentianed at 3:00 in the following video)

Unfortunately, Peter Charlton does not mention which novel approaches he means. So we are asking the question, does he mean HeartPy?

And if so, can these novel approaches also be used to remove noise from ECG signals?
