mbraintrain is a mobile EEG device company, but are mbraintrain EEG devices also used for scientific studies?

there are papers which use mbraintrain EEG devices for scientific studies:

We have a conference paper «Validation and Benchmarking of a Wearable EEG Acquisition Platform for Real-World Applications»

who uses smarting EEG.

But with many of the devices we introduced in our journal, smarting EEG has the potential to be used for scientific studies. But if the developer does not have the goal to make it usable for this purpose, who else will do it?

If we look at the demo video of smarting, the show that it can be used for ballet, muscle training, running activities. But where are the users and the papers who uses it for these applications?

We have also smarting sleep. But all we can find about it is a brochure:

Since we can find hardly any users or papers from smarting EEG, we think smarting is in the first place a proof of concept.

mbraintrain has also a YouTube where you can find one of the best summary what can be done with mbraintrain EEG:

mbraintrain says it is a mobile EEG device company

but do we need a special company for that? EEGLAB has an artifact removal plugin to remove motion artifacts caused for instance by motion. So we can use also other EEG products for mobile applications.
