Issue with Fedora 37 on the Raspberry Pi 4: it runs very slow

Last Updated on May 1, 2023 by pg@petergamma.org

Instruction how to resolve this issue

  1. Install Fedora 37 on the Orange Pi 5:
  • It should be quiet straightforward as described here:
  1. Add support for the official 10 inch Orange Pi touch screen as described here:
  • as an alternative to the Raspberry Pi 4 with Fedora which supports theoffical Raspberry Pi 7 inch touch display
  1. Add Bluetooth and WIFI support to the Orange Pi 5 as described here

It is highly desirable that developers and YouTube video review demo makers resolve this issues with the Raspberry P4 and Fedora. Is it not better to run Fedora on a powerful SBC as for instance the Orange Pi 5, instead of on a slow Raspberry Pi 4?
