- Digitec Switzerland is one of the biggest sellers of electronic devices in Switzerland.
- Digitec had the LattePanda Delta in their shop:
- But not the new LattePanda 3 Delta.
- We asked Digitec Switzerland if they could sell the new LattePanda 3 in their shop.
- But Digitec answered, that they do no longer offer the LattePanda Delta.
- We asked Digitec again, to sell the new LattePanda 3 Delta in their shop.
- Then Digitec Switzerland answered us, that the supplier DFRobot does currently not offer the LattePanda 3 Delta 864.
We absolutely cannot understand that DRRobot does not want to offer the new LattePanda 3 Delta 864 to the reseller Digitec Switzerland.
DFRobot has the LattePanda 3 Delta 864 in their own shop:

We can absolutely not understand why DFRobot does not want to deliver the LattePanda 3 Delta 864 to Digitec Switzerland, one of the biggest seller of electronic components in Switzerland.
It is not possible by not offering us this device to force us to buy the more expensive LattePanda Alpha, which DFRobot offers to Digitec and Digitec sells in their shop:

The LattePanda Alpha is way too powerful for our needs, and the LattePanda V1 which is also sold by Digitec Switzerland:
has the problem that it is difficult to install Linux on it but solvable.
If a supplier wants us to force to buy the more expensive LattePanda Alpha instead of the Delta then that won’t work. We will then simply decide not to buy from Digitec, but from a place where the LattePanda 3 Delta 864 is offered, if we would decide for this device. But if a manufacturer like DFRobot is so difficult, then this is a strong argument against DFRobot. We then eventually decide to buy single board computers from another manufacturer.
