Review of Novaspirit Tech on 05.02.2018 five years ago, first device broke down:
- Novaspirit Tech says a lot of board we can see on his channel he purchases with his own money.
- He does not go out and asks for free testing devices.
- If he can have a free testing example he says it is great.
- But most of the times he goes out an purchases a board to test it to do his own review.
- In that way, he is not sucked into have to say what they want him to say because they gave him the board.
- In that way he is able to do his own review
- device did not boot
- many people had problem booting it.
- The device was faulty, and he would have lost money for returning the device, since shipping costs are so high.
- Also ETA PRIME mentioned in one of his review, he purchased a SBC in China which broke, but the shipping costs to send it back to China would have been twice as much as the costs for the device, so it is not worth it.
- Therefore we try if possible to find devices which are sold by a Swiss reseller.
- This is currently the case for the Odroid XU4Q and the LattePanda V1, but not for the Orange Pi 5, the Raspberry Pi zero w2 or the Raspberry Pi 4.
Another review of Novaspirit Tech with second device on 03.08.2018 five years ago Novaspirit Tech to use it as a desktop replacement:
- the Odroid XU4 is loud, the Odroid XU4Q (for quiet) has got a heat sink instead of the fan.
- there are a lot of heat issues with this device.
- The reviewer recommends to use additionally a fan, since it get’s really hot.
