Issue: which usb-c adapters work with the MangoPI MQ RISC-V single board computer (part II)?

We asked Wi-Fi Sheep on his Tech Channel about it:

Peter Gamma:

“You show that you use an usb-c hub in your demo for keyboard and moue. We had some problems to find an usb-c adapter which works. It would be very helpful to know as exactly as possible which usb-c hub you have choosen in your demo.”

Wi-Fi Sheep:

“To be honest it was one i just pulled out the draw! It was bought for another project a few years earlier so I dont have the listing details for it, and its a generic Chinese make so no brand names. This I think is very similar:

But as chip specs change all the time I cant confirm it would work.

Saying that I have noticed with my setup that the mouse was very problematic, And only worked with Logitech branded devices.

Peter Gamma:

@Wi-Fi Sheep Tech Channel Thank you for your detailed answer which I highly appreciate. usb-c seems to be an issue with some devices. The Pinephone for instance sells a special usb-c adapter which is tested and working but is confirmed only for PostmarketOS.
