-How many people use single board computes on a regular basis?
-Do not many buy those to test them and then sell them again? - That´s were it becomes interesting to buy a second hand single board computer with a large battery.
- We tested a Raspberry Pi 4 with a 10 000 mAh battery. Battery life was about 4 hours. Other claim that it is 8 hours with this configuration, but we cannot confirm this.
- We can also buy 3 x 20 000 mAh batteries to get a battery life of 24 hrs. And there is much which can be optimized.
- The Raspberry Pi 4 is currently not available, but there is for instance also the Orange Pi zero W2 with 1 GB Ram.
- We can install MainsailOS Install on Orange Pi Zero2 (Armbian) for Klipper, the 3d-Printer firmware, but there are also other options available.
Several years ago, we tested single board computers, and sold them again on Ricardo Switzerland. Then we tested the PinePhone and sold it also on Ricardo Switzerland.
Now, we need single board computer for our projects, but we can buy those second hand from people who tested those and sold them again as we did several years ago. We can get them cheap now second hand because of that.
Who uses single board computers as a daily driver? The Meditation Research Institute Switzerland (MRIS) who can by plenty of cheap single board computers on Ricardo Switzerland now.
We will buy old single board computers on Ricardo Switzerland, until someone sells low power single board computers which are also interesting for buyers and not only for sellers who do stock market speculations with those on a daily basis.
