Is Debian official release better than armbian for the Raxda Zero? There is evidence for it which we reported in our journal:

1. A user reported to use Raxda Zero with Debian for his project, an off-road mini PCs which specialized software. The user already released version 2 of his project.

Radxa Zero off grid, hackable mobile computer version 2 with Debian & Bluetooth keyboard & mouse developed by Ex solder Mark John Cockerill who uses it for off-road applications – but where can we find a YouTube demo which proofs that this device works?
