Save OpenBCI

William Croft from OpenBCI locks us again and again out of the OpenBCI forum. Is this because we are too critical and lower the sales rates OpenBCI? William Croft says, that the OpenBCI WIFI shield is depricted and hides the OpenBCI Gerber files. But the OpenBCI WIFI shield is not depricted for us personally. Is the WIFI shield not one of the most interesting components of OpenBCI?

William Croft says, that OpenBCI has only an income from selling components. But will OpenBCI survive if that is the only pillar OpenBCI is grounded on? Do we have the risk that OpenBCI is switched of from one day to the other, as for instance the Polar forum, the BITalino forum and the Interaxon forum was switched of from one day to another? This was a big loss for us personally, because all of our investments in these communities where lost by this. Do we have now the same risk with the OpenBCI forum, which is a source of knowledge which should be saved for the open source community.

As far as we know, all or many components of OpenBCI are open source, and can also be saved legally on other platforms. It is highly desirable that these components are saved, so that they do not disappear from one day to the other like the Polar forum, the BITalino forum and the Interaxon forum.
