We have read Matthieu Ricards best-selling books “Happiness” and feel cheated. We asked Krisztián Hofstädter in the OpenBCI forum to compare brainwaves if he is listening to Yorski Sadness vs Alex Jordan Happiness. According to Matthieu Ricard, with negative emotions (Yorski Sadness) we should see gamma waves in the right prefrontal cortex, and with Alex Jordan Happiness we should see gamma waves in the left prefrontal cortex.
But Krisztián Hofstädter did not test this and did not publish anything about this. Instead, he removed his YouTube demos about OpenBCI and the Greentek Gelfree S2 cap. Then mBrainTrain published YouTube videos about the Greentek Gelfree S2 cap. MbrainTrain is more expensive than OpenBCI. g.tec medical launched the Unicorn Black EEG. Was this shift to more expensive EEG devices performed by a business scientist, who wanted to make more money out of us?
Krisztián Hofstädter started then developing free website building on his YouTube channel. We did not react on those. Then, these demos where removed again. Then Arnaud Delorme started demos how to build a second website on his YouTube channel. Did this happen by chance, or was it also the plan of a business scientist?
Then, we reviewed EEG caps which are sold on Aliexpress, two different models. As a consequence, more expensive EEG caps where sold on Aliexpress. Did this happen by chance, or was it also the plan of a business scientist? We asked questions in the EEVBLOG about a Texas Instruments EEG board. We where flooded by answers which made us retreat from the EEVBLOG. Did this happen by chance, or was it also the plan of a business scientist?
Then suddenly, OpenBCI components where sold on Aliexpress, and Adam Feuer wanted to sell us his HackEGG with 32 channels. But he showed us a demo where only one or two channels where working. Adam Feuer now writes on his linked.in curriculum vitae, that he was CEO of Sarcat IO, the company which wanted to sell us a 32 channel EEG device. But according to his .cv on linked.in, he is no longer CEO of Starcat.IO. Is Adam Feuers EEG company Starcat.IO dead already?
Then, Richard Davidson launched his best-selling book “Altered Traits”. Did this happen by chance, or was it also the plan of a business scientist? Did everything starting from Richard Davidsons PNAS paper with Matthieu Ricard:
https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.0407401101
and Matthieu Ricards book “Happiness”, over the EEG devices and Vanjas Palmers talks about experienced meditators who take Psilocybin happen by chance, or was it a plan from a business scientist?
The result of it is, that the MRIS mediates with a Fenix 6 paired to a Polar OH1, which as accurate at a breath rate of 12 breath per minutes, and nowhere else. The MRIS does not use EEG devices to practice meditation, since all of them are too complicated and too expensive for simple meditators like us, and most probably also for Buddhist monks who meditate, since they hardly possess anything.
Sports watches have more features and are less complicated, but not usable for physiologists like us for our specific application meditation:
Did this all happen by chance, or was it the plan of a business scientist? Or is it all a big marketing trust? Market trusts are forbitten in Switzerland:
That’s why it’s so nice to live in Switzerland.
