I am not a computer scientist, and I want to access a cloud free privacy Linux phone from my Windows 10 PC, how can I do this?

The easiest way to access data from an Android phone was the plug the SD card from the phone into a PC, or to plug the phone via USB to the PC as external drive. Both options are gone. Is this because big companies do want us to sync our data over clouds so that they can sell us cloud abos?

The easiest way to solve this problem is a Linux phone which allows data to be written to the external SD card, as it was possible in the good old times of Android phones.

But this is not possible with all Linux phones. Ubports phones with custom ROMs do not allow this. This is only possible with Ubports and for instance the PinePhone which is completely open source.

But we can choose PostmarketOS instead of Ubports to solve this problem. According to wibble from the Pine64 forum, POS allows to write to the external SD card, which is the easiest way to solve this problem.
