Biosemi 8 channel EEG amplifier costs ca 10 000 USD. The equipement of the MRI India must have been very expensive.

As well as other scientists. But we do not know of any scientific updates of the MRI India since 10 March 2014. Is the project dead and the expensive EEG equipement is rusting in India?
The MRI Switzerland has no research grant. The equipment of the MRIS currently consists of a Fenix 6 paired to a Polar OH1.
- The MRIS suffers from the fact that OpenBCI saves the money to repair the WIFI shield, but sells an OpenBCI Galea for 20 000 USD.
- The MRIS suffers because Interaxon pulled the Muse SDK from the market.
- James Clutterbuck from Mind Monitor makes hardly any updates of his app. The MRIS has to shoot averages of EEG activity data to the Mind Monitor online charts and copy and paste it down from there. James does not want to update it and make it more user friendly. We suffer from this, too.
Who is responsible for this? First, sell expensive EEG equipement to India, which now rusts there, and then save the money to repair the OpenBCI WIFI shield and save the money for Mind Monitor updates? Is it big brother marketing trust EEG, who wants to keep prices for EEG devices high? Market trusts are forbidden in Switzerland:
But we have evidence that the EEG prices of different EEG manufacturers are linked to each other, and EEG products are linked to each other and the EEG marked seem to be highly controlled to keep prizes high. Complain at this at our your EEG device sellers. Affordable EEG devices for student projects and people without research grant are highly desirable, and are preferentially based on Python and open source hardware and software.
